My Heart and Soul I never used to worry about Mom. She was the heart and soul of our family. Somehow, she managed to get everything done and still have time for my brothers and me. ***Tips For the Novice (and otherwise) - Editing*** The blanket statement, "Editing/revision harms poetry," is simply wrong. It's akin to a photographer claiming that focusing the lens ruins the emotion of the photograph.
